After rising to prominence with his chart-topping single &#;Animals&#; Garrix has helped to reshape the global dance music scene, emerging as one of the industry&#;s most sought-after talents.
Garrix was one of the trailblazers of the Dutch electronic dance music explosion which took place in the early s and he is known for his special blend of progressive house, Dutch house, EDM and deep house.

Garritsen began playing guitar at the age of eight.
