Ο αγαπητός συνθέτης, κιθαρίστας και ερμηνευτής, έχει αφήσει το δικό του προσωπικό στίγμα στην σύγχρονη ελληνική μουσική σκηνή από την εποχή των θρυλικών «Τερμιτών» μέχρι και σήμερα. Είναι ένας από τους πλέον διακεκριμένους Έλληνες συνθέτες της γενιάς του με αμέτρητες διαχρονικές επιτυχίες και βιρτουόζος κιθαρίστας με διεθνή δράση, συνεργασίες και αποδοχή. Καλεσμένη του Αντώνη επί σκηνής είναι η ερμηνεύτρια Κατερίνα Παράσχου, μια «φωνή από τη νεότερη γενιά» που τραγουδά με μια χροιά «γεμάτη» και λυρική, που αν και νεότατη, έχει ήδη συνεργαστεί με κορυφαία ονόματα της ελληνικής σκηνής και τώρα καλείται να ερμηνεύσει αγαπημένα τραγούδια του Αντώνη Μιτζέλου.
Ο Αντώνης Μιτζέλος θεμελίωσε το Ελληνικό Ροκ με τους Τερμίτες την δεκαετία του και στην συνέχεια έστησε το σύγχρονο ηλεκτρικό τραγούδι, ενοποιώντας τους δύο αντίθετους αισθητικά πόλους του τραγουδιού στη χώρα, κάνοντας τις πρώτες συνεργασίες λαϊκών και έντεχνων ροκ καλλιτεχνών στην Ελλάδα.
