No passado, Alma (Giovanna Antonelli) teve um romance com Galvão (Bruno Garcia), que a trocou por outra e mais tarde acabou sendo abandonado. Quando Alma volta à Caramirim Galvão, queredo refazer o mal que fez no passado, a convida para um passeio na Praia Azul. Ela hesita mas aceita o convite, sem poder imaginar que lá reencontraria justamente Gregg (Rodrigo Hilbert), quem não vê há anos, desde o dia em que ele foi embora de Caramirim. Surpresa ao ver o surfista no mar, e ignorando as reclamações de Galvão, com ciúmes do reencontro, Alma segue na direção de Gregg. Os dois ficam frente a frente, mas, antes que possam falar qualquer coisa, um acidente inesperado acontece: ela leva uma bolada na cabeça e desmaia. Todos ficam preocupados e correm para socorrê-la.
